It is with a heavy heart that we confirm the passing of Martina’s mother.
Jana Navratilova, age 75, succumbed to a lengthy battle with pulmonary illness the evening of Saturday, December 8th. A beloved mother and grandmother, Jana will be remembered with happiness by everyone whose life she touched.

Martina and her family appreciate everyone’s condolences, prayers and support during this time of loss for the Navratilova family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jana Navratilova’s name to either Pet Care Fund (P.O. Box 870, Osprey Florida 34229)

We all know about this and as you saw the forum was empty in all this period...I don't know what to say .... I pray for Martina every day and hope she will understand that each of us we have a little star somewhere .... a day come when we got to move there
